Lydia had always enjoyed not getting people to talk. She knew that Gabe would however. According to the report, Gabe had been the one to disable the bomb. She wanted to make sure that he was doing all right, and that this had affected him too much. She was now playing the waiting game, just like she had with Taylor.

Gabe had bearly stepped out of the shower and before he'd gotten the call from Kat asking him to see the counselor. He shook his head as he grabbed his boxers and trousers from a rail near the shower then pulled on his boots. He'd hoped his chat with Kara would be enough for the day but checking the mental health of the team was top priority.

He left the bathroom and grabbed his shirt and commbadge before heading out into the corridor, buttoning his shirt as he went. He knew he'd have to drop by his office before he went to see Marissa anyway so he'd dressed casual.

Squaring his shoulders he came to the counselor's office and tapped the buzzer.

She could only guess that it was either the Captain or Gabe. She hoped it was Gabe so that her chat with the Captain could be a bit longer than normal.

(I'm ready to finish when you are Ly, Although if ya gonna go with the timestamp ya added on the main forum, I'll have to talk to Mariisa and Lilly about changing the time on the Gabe/Marissa JP)

I understand your dodging of my line of work, and I do it too but with a little bit of fun. As far as I can tell, you're in a good frame of mind. You may go and drink your beer."

"Well that was surprisingly easy, if ya don't mind me asking counselor, Why so quick?"

"Quick because you're healthy. You have no intention of harming the crew or the Captain. As far as I'm concerned, you're capable of doing your duties." She answered. "No need to be surprised. I'm simply good at my job."

Gabe stood slowly, despite his shower he still ached, but there was little he could do about that at the minute.

"Good to know Counselor. Well thanks for ya time and i'm sure I'll see ya around. Ya'll have to excuse me, i have a few more things to do before i clock off completely for the day."

"Understandable." She replied. "Have a good evening."

(Talk to the Captain. She asked me to do that.)
